Aquamarine

Aquamarine is considered the primary birthstone for March (and the state gemstone of Colorado). The word Aquamarine is derived from the Latin word "Aqua", meaning water and "Marina" meaning sea. Aquamarine is a popular stone because of its gorgeous pale blue-green tones. Its beautiful serene color is said to be calming, releasing of fear and bringing clarity.
